The desert areas (high desert in particular) are one of the very few things I miss about living in California. There are some fantastic camping and hiking areas out there. I've actually been to the Anza Borrego before, but I don't think we went to this particular canyon. Beuatiful area nonetheless.

Beautiful, makes me miss the high desert I lived at Edwards and spent time at twenty nine palms. The desert is truely a place of beauty.

Looks like I'll be making a run to the Higher desert around Hillerman (Jim Chee, Lt.Lleaphorn AKA Navajo Reservation) Country weekend after next; I'll post up some pictures. Aside from the desert Palms, the country is really similar to a lot of the stuff in my back yard.
