Talk to your hunting friends. Talk to local game wardens. Talk to local taxidermists. Talk to store clerks where they sell hunting supplies. Try Craigs list. Post a card in hunting stores. etc. etc. etc.
I didn't think to search for antlers... I've been searching for elk horn, stag horn, knife making, etc, and haven't found anything other than scales with those search terms. I was just using the wrong word... Thanks, folks!!

Crazy Crow might have some things, Moscow hide and fur might have antlers, then like everyone else says... eBay and google.

I traded for elk antler here, with Squeaky McMurdo. Nice antlers, good trade.

Are you just trying to find one piece, or what ?

I am VERY active in the BP?ML community, Deer & Elk Horns are a VERY important part. ( ranging from buttons, cribbage boards to knife handles etc.

So how do I get mine ??

    1. Hunting - animal taken, if lucky )
    2. Antler shedding - Deer shed their antlers ( usually from Jan to April, depending on local) If you "cruise" the ares you can find them.Be sure they are recent ( if from last year they are not good )

NOTE - due to the HEAVY DEMAND, especially from ASIA & other markets, you may run into "professional" antler gatherers. Also note, because of the demand, there have been PROBLEMS.

    3. Attend a BP/ML rendezvous. Traders usual have a supply.
    4. Log onto a BP/ML forum ( if you need to find 1, I can help, I am a Moderator on on of the largest)

    Hope this helps

That forum would be of great help! Point me at it! Thanks for the advice. If I were a hunter, gathering my own would be easy (or at least, less problematic...) but I'm not.

Two sources I use are the afore mentioned Crazy Crow, and Dixie Gun Works. Both have nice Stag Horn in the larger sizes for Dirk grips as well as smaller pieces.

I have some stag and elk horn scraps. If you pay for the shipping they are yours.
