Fermanagh County Ireland tartan is a wonderfully understate tartan. I purchased some off of ebay and made a kilt. It has to be my favorite kilt for general wear. Welcome from Eastern Washington State USA.

Hello and a warm Celtic from Boston, Massachusetts.
Check the area for Pipe bands, make contact or check their website for an instructor. It is close to impossible to get anywhere without a tutor. Then dedicate at least one hour everyday to the practice chanter, and hopefully a quality practice chanter, as a piper uses it for life. There should be bands around Columbus that can help you. I am still on the practice chanter after five months, but consider it a pleasure as I am still learning more embellishments and techniques.

A Warm and Sunny Greeting from the High Desert of Southern California.

I don't know how you could possibly suck more on the chanter than I do.
