I'm convinced that someone or something -- maybe it's the supreme being of our choice or the universe -- decides that if we aren't going to make the move to get out of the wrong employment situation of our own volition, they/it will force our hand.
I fooled around for two years in a job where I wasn't appreciated. Finally, God (in my opinion) said, "Okay, Skippy, you won't make the move to get out of this lousy situation? Well, now you don't have any choice."
Best thing that ever happened to me.
Hang in there. It happened for a reason.

Every new beginning cannot start until something else ends. You now have the chance to start fresh and live the life you've always wanted! Booya for you. You might not ever get this chance again. Make the most of it.

A few years ago I was in a simular situation. I was an operations manager for a company who didn't appreciate their workforce... I stayed because of loyalty.. it bit me in the butt... but I got the last laugh... I ended up making far more money, with my current job...
Things will work out for you... there are companies that appreciate loyalty..with the job market, the way it is... companies are looking for those quality employees.. especially where you are... Good Luck and keep your head up... see it as an opportunity to make things better, and a chance to expand your experience...

Sorry to hear about your situation. I can relate. I was in the same situation several years ago. Hang in there, the perfect job is just around the corner.
