Decision time Robert, you're either with them or against me. Choose wisely.

Against my better judgement I shall half-heartidly accept Panache's recommendation as absolutely insane. I extend by hand to you two and say "hmmph".
Grant, I'll match your "hmmph" and raise you "one bah humbug". Thanks for the welcome.

a question:
Hi,
congratulations to the new Mod!!
I know that I'm new in this forum and for the same I ask,
żbetween the member ladies is some moderator?
He would be nice that a Woman has that privilege or no?

It would be nice, we did ask a woman once, who refused for her own reasons.

Terialka,
When we went looking for new moderators we looked for the best qualified people.
Being male or female wasn't a factor
What we looked for was...
People with a genuine appreciation of our forum,
Who were knowledgeable about kilts and highland attire,
Who showed by example how to conduct oneself on a family friendly forum,
Who stand up for the rules and the spirit of this online community,
who will be able to be fair in their decisions and judgements,
and lastly who had the time available to commit to being a volunteer moderator on XMTS
I can off hand think of a couple of the Ladies of XMTS who would be very fine Moderators (including one we directly asked) but they simply do not have the time to devote to our forum.
I think in all likelihood that XMTS will one day have Lady Moderators. When this happens they will be part of the Mod Squad for the reasons I listed above, instead of for simply being female
Cheers
