I saw Barleyjuice last summer at the Kansas City Highland games, a great band and very personable, I was able to go backstage after the show and discuss kilts and music.
I'm still hoping that they will make it back over to the Buffalo Irish Festival (where Jimmy gave my brother a kilt a few years ago).
Looking at the calendar - Rochester in September isn't that far a drive.
I got to meet Jimmy at the Williamsburg Scottish Festival last year. The band is great, and meeting Jimmy should be a highlight for any Xmarker, because Jimmy is one of the founding members.

Great pictures.. I am a big BarleyJuice fan. I wish they could find their way to Texas!
I would be on-board for getting BarleyJuice here to Texas...

I can't thank you guys enough for attending the East Durham Fest. We were asked to return in 2010 halfway through the first set on the first day. We gladly accepted the invite before they got to know us.
I guess I should have held-on to the 32-ounce Guinness for the picture! Free drinks for the band made those even MORE tasty!
As for more upstate NY gigs... don't forget the Great American Irish Fest in Utica. THAT'S my absolute favorite place all year long. The Saranac Irish Red is THE BOMB!!!
That Rochester gig will only be on that one Saturday in September. We're in Philadelphia on Friday and Sunday. I don't know who the travel agent is... but he/she needs to be beaten.
You all know that I love to see you when we're in your neck-of-the-woods. It's like seeing old friends!
