Welcome from Michigan You should also check Scotweb, you can get a 5 yard kilt in the Angus tartan in a variety of weights, modern or ancient for around $220 give or take a little.

Angus is a district tartan that's readily available from 2 different Scottish mills... it would not have to be a custom weave. You could pretty much order it from any kilt company that gets material from Scotland.
Here's a link to the different Angus tartans that are stock from different mills (note that some are 'ancient' and some are 'modern' color scheme).
