Tried that, it failed also. I got the dark blue screen with the white M, when I attempted to enter I got the can't find web site window.

I sent them a message and invited them to take a look at this thread, after submitting it I got a message saying

Thank you for your feedback. A member of our team will be in touch shortly to deal with your enquiry.

Once they get back to me I'll let you know what they have to say.

No problem at all, glad I could help here is what I sent:

I was asked to write you as several people on a forum I belong are having trouble getting to your webpage. For me and some others it seems fine but for others there are problems, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who can get the site and who can not, as members from Coatbridge Scotland, and Pennsylvania, USA to Kitchener Ontario Canada are all having problems. If you are interested the discussion can be found here

The dark blue splash screen with the "M" should have 3 clickable areas: the M logo, the "Marton Mills" text block, and the word "enter" should all link to http://www.martonmills.com/.

It sounds like there may be a problem looking up that domain name from some locations. I show its name servers as:

    ns1.tdserver.co.uk ns2.tdserver.co.uk

... but sure enough, I'm not getting an answer if I try to query for their addresses.

I am getting through, but it is highly likely that my desktop system has all the relevant addresses cached, or my local name servers do. It is a hosted site, so I don't think the IP address will help us.

You might try scotweb if you're researching a particular fabric.

Ken, that is the address Loach had given originally. It didn't even get me to the blue page with the big "M" on it. But getting there with the new url system, I got the same result when I hit "enter."

No problems entering either the .co.uk or .com sites from IE at work through a pretty heavy firewall.

Works fine for me with Firefox 3.5.2, Safari 4.0.3. I prefer not to use IE.

Perhaps they have solved their problem.

Try going directly to their tartan page:

    http://www.martonmills.com/range/dept/6

    16 oz.: http://www.martonmills.com/range/6/list/51
    13 oz.: http://www.martonmills.com/range/6/list/50

I haven't had any trouble ever with their site.
