Once I switched Kilts in the woods. Just grateful that I didn't meet poison ivy.

The Grand Canyon - South Rim. Wanting to get pics of different tartans at the canyon while I had the camera rig set up...sort of in the car to the point of avoiding arrest then out of the car to get it adjusted well.

I've changed in the locker room at work a few times, no big deal there. As far as 'unusual' places, I have ridden a motorcycle to a celtic event wearing jeans, parked, strapped the kilt on and dropped the jeans in the parking lot.
I have not been able to change clothes in my car since I got rid of my old Dodge police car, to change any article of clothing in the Miata I'd have to put the top down and stand up!

If one were to go back to the first posts of me here from the August 2008 kilt night at Devil's Canyon Brewing, one would find pics of me wearing the Wizard's Xmarks tank. I changed into it, and back into my weathered Saffron, in the middle of the evenings festivities. I put one kilt on over the other and dropped the first, did it again to put my own kilt back on.
At the wedding I attended kilted last week, I changed in a small clearing below the parking lot at the wedding venue. I could see the road, but they'd have had to be looking very carefully to see me.

Obviously, we need help here. Having seen the lassies change into a bikini on a public beach, with no problem as to modesty, perhaps we should request some advice.
PS Not that Scotsmen in kilts worry about modesty.

I changed into a kilt, and out of a kilt at different times right on main street in or near our theater. When I am the lobby manager I wear black pants and a black shirt, and not the kilt. So depending where I was going or coming from, I just stood out side my parallel parked car, with the back door open to lay things on the seat. Put on kilt, take of pants, or pull up pants, take off kilt.
DALE.

I went to NRH2O (North Richland Hills Water Park in North West Fort Worth), found a empty parking lot and a bush growing near the edge of the lot, parked and changed.
Afterward, I drove back to the same place and changed back into my kilt.

In March of 2009, I bought my first kilt, a sport kilt in my Wallace family tartan, at a Celtic festival in Florida. I wanted to change into it. The park's public rest room was for a single occupant, it was constructed of concrete blocks and had no door. So the wall blocking anyone next in line extends just a wee bit past the person standing in front of, or on, the toilet.
There I am, just beyond the short wall, putting on my first kilt. I took off my shorts and wrapped the kilt around me. While in the process, I could hear someone outside say, "someone is in there." I didn't know about wrapping the kilt around and then dropping the shorts, I was a newbie. I was in a confined space, trying to put on my first kilt.
I put my shorts in the bag the kilt was in, and I enjoyed the rest of the day in my kilt. The addiction took, I am wearing my 2nd kilt while typing this and my 3rd kilt was ordered last Saturday.
