And it takes Robert about that time (20 hours) to machine sew a leather RKilt. If only he'd accepted my suggesting to use a pnuematic stapler he could get that down to two hours per kilt.

In addition to being quicker, that'd make a great fashion statement It'd probably be pretty popular in certain niches.
