Ahh I just read what I typed... I do apologise!
I should really have said gun's werent even invented before the actual play was written.
I started doing MacBeth in my last year of school and it's no wonder why my English teacher completely abandoned the whole concept of us studying this book with people like me in the class!

How about mixing jackets and shirts and jabots and saying you're Sean Connery?

Paul, why not go shirtless as the guy from the Lawson's whisky ads. Add a wig if you must.

    Right on the money MacLowlife.

I'm going to reprise my 15th century highland warrior for this years holloween party. Just going to wear my belted (great kilt), ax, short sword, leather pouch, targe, and period footwear. Nothing else. The ladies love it. The wife tolerates it.

Go forth and enjoy the ride.

    Ok I've got it sorted.
3.5yard single-width piece of MacKenzie tartan for a great kilt
belt with loophole for my PLASTIC DAGGER
another belt over the shoulder to act as a crossbelt to hold my PLASTIC SWORD
    plastic crown
    dark hose
    brown Nike Dunks
    fake beard

    I'm MacBeth

I was also hoping to get some plastic armour but it would double my costume cost of £14!

Paul, when last I was in Glasgow town, there was a store called QUID'S IN. Now that has been several years, but it seems to me they would have been an ideal source for some plastic armor. Surely you needn't go over to the D-I-Y threads to remember how to wrap corrugated cardboard in Alumin(i)um foil!

Thanks... I'm sure it's still there but I've never taken notice!
I'll check it out today as I'd be passing where it was anyway

I'm sure I remember some picture on these boards of a kilted Star Wars storm trooper - that's sort of regimental
