    The kilt looks great, and the outfit is perfect with it, when in doubt red garter ties are a good way to go.

    You know what would look good? If you go to ebay, there are several sutlery stores. Just type in "Civile War Vest" and you'll see Fed and Reb styles all over the place. You could buy one of each , and depending on your mood, kick one or the other. Those vests look REALLY sharp also!

    That really is a handsome tartan, and as always, Matt's work speaks for itself. I think the hose/garter colors work well with this tartan. Congrats all around.

    Great kilt and tartan. And I wouldn't worry about the hose and flashes either. They look fine to me.
