Very good looking tartan. But is SO not fair to attempt to compare with ANYTHING Rex models--he pulls off every look too well!

That's a nice looking tartan. Rex, both looks are very nice.

"Rex porn" indeed - provoking kilt-lust, while making me feel utterly inadequate and unworthy of said kilt!
A fine kilt, in a fine tartan, very finely modelled.

Is that fireplace hearth in a home in Cincinnati? Beautiful! How old is the home/hearth?

That is indeed the original fireplace in my 1930 home in Cincinnati.
In real estate listings, such fireplaces are often marketed as "Rookwood." Many homes in Cincinnati do indeed have real Rookwood Pottery-made tile, but this is not one of them. A neighbor of mine did some research on his similar fireplace and learned that the tiles came from a company in a western state (Colorado or California, I don't recall now). I still love it, though, and was thrilled when I realized after I first saw it that the furnishings I was able to take with me from the farm after my split went perfectly with it.

Sorry, the Ebay listing for the kilt in "normal" Auld Lang Syne tartan has expired a while back.
I grabbed the image because I liked the tartan so much.
