An XMarks Night Before Christmas


Twas the night before Christmas at XmarkstheScot,
The members were posting, the topics were hot.

Flat cap or balmoral, waistcoat with a belt,
Daywear sporran with leather or animal pelt.

White hose for dress, argyle or dice,
Should I go cheap or to heck with the price.

Knife pleated or box, to stripe or to sett,
Two thousand opinions is what you'll get.

The keyboards heated up, smoke came from the screen
When all of a sudden came a sight to be seen.

He was oh so large and incredibly thick
I thought “Holy Crap, a kilted St. Nick?”

“Oh no.” he replied. “A saint I am not.”
“Just your friendly, neighbourhood Juggernaut.”

He urged all the members to post only good
Like true ladies and gents on the internet should.

“Be kind at this seasonal time of the year.”
“Hold the members of Xmarks as friends most dear.”

“We're scattered world wide and yet we're so near,
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.”
