I love a good Irish Breakfast. I could also go for a good English Breakfast or Earl Grey. And Tazo makes a good one called Passion. I don't remember what all is in it, aside from rose hips, but it's good stuff.

I just ordered several varieties from Twinings, though, and am trying some new blends.

Mixed Berry was delicious, as is their African Rooibos.

The grocery store has a generic blueberry tea that I really like. It's cheap and easy, but good anyway.

Wait a minute....you're not going to say this and drop it!
Are you saying what I think you're saying?

Well, in the meantime it's Tetley's British Blend or if I'm splurging then Barry's Irish tea.
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

Grew up drinking Red Rose, and Lapsang. Right now I am drinking Scottish Breakfast or a tea called Russian Caravan, it has a smoky flavor. I do like my tea with just some sugar and rather strong. This is how my grandmother and grandfather drank it. My father liked his tea brewed by passing the tea bag quickly over the cup.

Normally I drink green teas, most often with a little lemon in it. premixed or added fresh. Or mint or rooibos. when I have the time I'll make a pot of good tea like gunpowder, lapsang, assam. loose tea of course. When I have guests I have a nice glass pot for a special Jasmine blossom. It starts as a ball and opens like a flower when the water is poured on.
My newest find is Maté a south american tea really invigorating, it is said it has been used by shamans to contact the spirit world.

We get our loose leaf tea from this place
    http://www.steepedtea.com/about_us.php

We do enjoy their Buckingham Palace blend and the Irish Breakfast, once all the craziness of the holidays winds down we just may have a tea party.

Twining's Irish Breakfast is my go-to. I'm not sure that true "tea connoisseurs" would approve, but I like it and it's readily available in the supermarket.

I fell in love with sweet, strong Iraqi chai, but have a hard time recreating it back in the States.

    Cordially,

    David
