I plan on getting a kilt done in the Armagh County tartan one day, since I have family from there.

wow!
Lots of stunning tartans and kilts, thanks for posting pictures everyone. At the moment the Ireland's National and County Donegal have caught my eye. From what I know my grandpa's mother traveled from her home county of Donegal to Belfast in search of work before moving to Glasgow for a better life for her child. She then died giving birth to my grandpa, who was raised by his stepfather Patrick Cassidy.
Just a wee bit of my family history for those of you who may be interested
and if anyone else had some pics then feel free to add. Can't wait to see more!

Happy to oblige, Paul!
In the St. Columba tartan, I have a Newsome Box pleat and a belted plaid.

Looks great, Ern! Bit of a connection for me also as I have great memories of my old primary school St. Columbkilles!

I am thinking about a County Cork tartan, that's where my Grandfather is from.

Connemara Tartan
I have spent a lot of time in Connemara and really love it there.
Does anyone have a Connemara tartan, hopefully with a pic?
Thanks
