There's a rule against teachers wearing kilts? Silliness....

I'll be kilted all day--I think. Unless something happens between now and then that would prevent it, like an unexpexted court hearing.
Otherwise, it'll be a casual kilt and casual shirt with casual shoes. I suspect I'll try the new child's kilt on my grand-daughter to see if she likes it, too.
It's going to be a great day.

Tuesday, Tartan Day I will be kilted all day in my Malcolm tartan kilt. After work I will head to the British Pub to continue the celebration in a more relaxed manner.
I will be participating with our local Scottish Society will celebrate Tartan Day on Saturday 4/10 at in Old Towne Fredericksburg at Hugh Mercer’s Apothecary. I plan to do a walk about passing out Matt’s write ups on Tartan Day and Kilts

The museum has an open house that day, with a free Scottish-themed luncheon offered to anyone present. Early April is still in our "down season" so there is usually not too large of a crowd, so we invite local business owners on Main St to come and enjoy a Scottish lunch on us! We also are offering a couple of free guided tours of the museum.
Unfortunately, however, I'll be spending Tartan Day at my dentist's getting a cavity filled!

Does anyone know of a good source/site to find local tartan day events?

Matt, that is just too sad. But I guess getting a cavity filled now is better than a root canal later!
I plan to wear the kilt -- probably my new Munro kilt -- to work on April 6.

It's my wife's birthday!!!
So we'll probably go out for a nice dinner somewhere.
My kilt isn't likely to make an appearance that day.

I am not at all sure that we have a "Tartan Day". Do we?

If not, you should limit your celebrations, and thus your kilt wearing, to days whose names end in Y.
