Great photos. I loved the Loire Valley and its wines, especially Chinon and St Nicolas de

Wonderful pictures, Robert, thank you. This village very closely resembles Montichiari, the northern Italian town where I lived for 2 years. Beautiful! I miss it terribly.

If you had been near Anger, you might have come across another kilt-wearer; a very keen SCDer from Japan.
He has a good collection of kilts himself, and to make sure he is not the only one, buys kilts (only the best!) for his French friends.

And your excellent taste in clothes is stunningly demonstrated in the understated but perfect combination of jacket and waistcoat, shirt, hose, and kilt, with brown accessories. Ces magnifique.
