My grandson - now 9 and 3/4 months has been coming with me to collect his grandad from work, and has climbed the stairs up to the office, with me close behind to catch him when necessary, and to tell him how wonderful he is when he gets to the top.
Being a grandparent IS just grand, and you get to enjoy all those things which went past in a blur the first time, when you were just the anxious sleep deprived bewildered parent.
