Great photos Alex! If they had the random photo of the month contest... I would bet money... The little drummer boy would be the winner, hands down....lol

Alec, I saw you there on Saturday, it was sure a warm day. Your photos are great and really reflect the type of festival that it was. It was so good to get warm weather for the event as in recent years the weather has'nt been too great on the day. the organisers must put a tremendous amount of effort in to making the day a success and as your photos show it was a great success and I am sure VisitScotland could use your photos to sell Scotland.

I saw you at the stall near the river where they were selling sunglasses and other things but I had just met some friends and was engaged in conversation with them but when I looked for you later on I could not see you, even with your red shirt on, perhaps I'll bump into you at some other event.

Thanks so much for the Photos! It looks like a great time. I was pleasantly surprised to see colored hose on some of the bands, a bit of a rarity over here. I appreciate you including the names of the tartans as well, it really enables us to see them in action vs. a tiny swatch in a book or on a monitor.

I think scheduling my first visit there should center around a pipe band competition.
    Thanks again!
