Great pics, thanks! And who looks better -- the guy in the striped shorts, or the guys in the plaid "skirts"?!?

Yesterday (Saturday) it was just plain HOT! Today (Sunday) it was absolutely stinkin' HOT! Same temps, higher humidity. We had a brief period where it clouded over and cooled down a bit but received no rain.

Nary a one, though we did have some Romans and a few RenFaire wenches.
We also had one guy wearing his kilt backwards. I was busy doing my living historian bit and so was unable to bring it to his attention (politely of course as he had his family with him). He was also wearing a dance sash over one shoulder (I assume as some sort of pseudo-plaid).
We also had a bunch of folks with kilts hanging far below their knees, mostly because they were wearing the kilt on their hips and not their waist. I cringed each time I saw one walk by.
And then we had a member of the "kilt police" who wanted to lecture me on how kilts should be worn even though he had never worn a kilt himself and didn't want to. He was most offended when I told him there weren't really any rules, other than good taste, unless one was in a pipe band or a Highland regiment.
