It's all about money... 1c per click. 1,000,000 clicks = $10,000.
In order to get 1,000,000 clicks they have to get their link out to a hundred million different places. Emails, pop-up banners, Kilt forums... You name it but that's why they do it. To some people it's a living, to most people it's the absolute, most irritating aspect of being on-line. I'm grateful that they are kept at bay here, it must be a daunting task.
