It's wonderful fabric, I have a Lady Chrystal double box pleat in it, and it is heavy (great swish tho). I have a Tewksbury box pleat in 16oz Leatherneck and I love it. You're a fortunate man, with a truly classic kilt!

    I'm expecting a Tewksbury too!

Only in my case, it's Barb herself that I'm referring to!!!!

She's up in my neck of the woods this weekend for a conference and we're having breakfast on Sunday morning. Can't wait to meet the legend in person!!! We correspond fairly regularly via PM and emails and she's been a great help during my first kilt-making adventure...which, by the way, was an 8 meter tank of the very same fabric that yours is made of!!! I'm about an hour's work away from finishing it (I just need to finish stitching in the lining...but have been tied up with work for the past couple of weeks).

Lads, sorry for the delay in the pictures. My wife and I just got home from the hospital. My dad had a small heart attack today. Luckily he works in the maintainance department there and was quickly whisked to the ER, then life-flighted to a larger hospital. He had one stent put in, and is doing very well this evening. We are heading back over to the hospital tomorrow, but I'll try to get pictures this weekend.
