Looks great, Terry! Thanks for the detailed photo-essay of the "end of Jones" experience. :-)

Just wait until I get some outdoor pics, I think the sunlight really picks up the colours (especially the blue & green)

    Thanks again!

    Looking great Terry!
The kilt looks fantastic. When you have a chance, try to get a shot of the pleats open for the blue 'reveal'.
BTW: It's good to finally see #6 in action.

    You bet Scott (& thanks)!

I figured when my wife is off on Wednesday I can get some outdoor action pics walking the dog (including the pleat reveal ). I'm sure the garter ties will have arrived by then

The kilt looks terrific! Now I think I'll follow up on my "jones" for a MacDonald of Glenaladale ... it's very close to your MacDonell of Keppoch .

Ah, another has risen to the fly!

Seriously though, I'm glad that my MacDonell of Keppoch has inspired you to follow up on your own "jones"

The MacDonald of Glenaladale is a very handsome tartan, as seen in these samples by Lochcarron here (I especially like the version in ancient colours). I can't wait to see it in kilt form (have you decided upon what form it will take? 8 yard tank? 4 yard box pleat? etc? & kilt maker?).
