I'll admit, I DID get some odd looks and comments about my "socks" at the pub, but I got the sweater from mom and dad and I figured, why not.
The bulk of the patrons were college aged and rather immature when commenting. I did get a few people trying to look up my kilt while I was relaxing with a cider and chatting with lady friend. One or two were apparently attempting to get an "up kilt" photograph.
a bunch of the women were giving me "looks"though and the guys were actually getting a bit angry about it, hence the immature comments.
All I care about is that I had a good time, looked good, had a few well earned beers/ciders/lagers/stouts etc. with a good friend.
