Thank you Robert and Lady Crystel for sharing a bit of your holiday!
What an incredible opportunity to hold some of those old dirks and sporrans.

Lovely Robert. Thank you for sharing them.
What was teh castle off in the distance in several pics? At first glance I thought it was Edinburgh Castle and then realized there are no cow pastures in Princes Street Gardens.
Stirling? If it is I don't think I've seen it from that angle before.
Never mind, Google Images is your friend - Nice pictures of Stirling Castle. (and all the others)

Robert,
Wonderful photos mate...just brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing your journey throughout green Alba with us. Your photos are magnificent, just as your variety of Highland attire. I especially enjoyed the detailed photos of the different Highland dirks, sgian dhubhs, powder horns, and sporrans - all of which are extremely unique and a glimpse into days long ago, which is always a real treat to observe. I am quite pleased that you and your beautiful family were able to partake in such splendid activities in Scotland. My only wish is that I could have been there with you!!!
Beannach'd libh,
P.S. - Did you really shave with your dirk? LOL!

Well you caught our weather at its very best and at one of Scotland's most beautiful times of the year. I just love seeing Scotland through other people's eyes and your pictures and subjects are simply wonderful.
I hope you realise that you must have been only a very few miles from "Jock's" modest abode, and had I known that we had visiting dignitaries, I could have popped out to wave the French flag as you hurtled past! But still, I quite understand that to cover the ground that you did, time must have been precious. So you are forgiven!
