Good question, L&M is but a day trip away as well from where I'll be living in a week or so. But they dont determine the price at which their resellers sell their product. Unfortunately they only sell through resellers and not on individual basis.
I've been searching online for one from a Canadian source, as I'd rather support our economy or my local economy before I go international. (Part of the reason of buying my kilts from B&S here in Barrie On.) The, and I hate to use the term cheap.. so shall I say, the most frugal purchase of the Military or Civilian Badger Sporran seems to be American resellers or retailers.
If it comes down to it and its either 750 plus tax and international shipping from another country, or 758 plus tax and regular in country shipping(or no shipping cause I'll just go pick it up). I'll gladly buy from the L&M Highland Outfitters Local Affiliate here:
http://www.celticden.com/
Which isnt all that far from where I'll be.

Highland Brigade has them for about $595.00 if my memory serves me correctly. Try giving them a call.

Re: license to kilt...anyone?
I just received my first order from them. They claim to have tested my hard - strength Warnocks for me, which are squealing right out of the bag. They've been notified and I'll post here if they replace the reeds as they should. I paid $14.50 / reed for them, and I can't use them. I will create a new thread if I don't get a satisfactory outcome.

Re: license to kilt...anyone?
Drew from License to Kilt got back to me right away and is replacing the Warnocks with the Hard strength reeds. If you order from them, and want hard reeds be sure to emphasize that you really mean HARD and not medium. He told me that they automatically fill orders for hards with medium because they think customers don't really want a hard reed?????? My Shepard No. 2s are so poorly designed in terms of airflow, that I can only play with a hard reed, as anything else, even a broken in reed will squeal. Anyway, they did the right thing.
