Thank you so much for the warm welcome!  Robert, what a lovely family picture! Love seeing the whole family rocking the kilt Jock Scott, we went to Inverness for part of our honeymoon, what a beautiful place.
I will definitely look into making it on my own. It'll be a great accomplishment. I sew quite often, just never use a pattern. It's always whatever I come up with off the top of my head.
So here's the plan, my husband is a huge Star Wars fan. I want to make him a Star Wars kilt! It'll either be from the classic 1970's bed sheets, or new Star Wars fabric. I haven't decided yet. I think it'll be a great compliment to his current formal kilt. He's very excited about it.
