I don't know who the lady with the Duke of Edinburgh is but she is most definitely not the Princess Royal.
She is wearing some kind of chain of office so must have been there in some kind of official capacity.

Thanks Jock! I will most certainly have fun! I'm not sure that we'll get so far north this time around. As far as I know, St Andrews is the most northern destination that has been set out for this trip....as my mom doesn't want to venture too far away from Edinburgh (she wants to see some shows at the Fringe festival). If plans change, I will let you know if we might be able to meet.
