Re: Yay, a Snowstorm!
Yay, a snowstorm! I am so glad I moved south when I did! A picture, yesterday, of a friend's deck in Pennsylvania was quite enough for me.

Re: Yay, a Snowstorm!
I live about 60 miles east of Woodsheal and got seven inches of wet, heavy snow. Was safely at home and never lost power, so it's all good. Temps are above freezing today and the sun is out. Roads are already clear. The snow should be gone later this week.

NPR was reporting today that 3 million people were without power because of this storm. The leaves are still on the trees, and the wet snow had more surface had to cling to, which brought down more limbs and trees than the same storm would have done even a month later.

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the (pine scented candels are) so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
It was stuck in my head, and we don't really get snow here.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

[unnecessary aside]One of my cousins used to burn incense and scented candles in her room with the door closed, and she must have been allergic to them, because they made her sick enough to earn a few days in the hospital.[/unnecessary aside]

Re: Yay, a Snowstorm!
Lets see - PA - Pennsylvania - must be, with that sylvan setting. Very pretty scene.
The weather is certainly interesting these days. Always up to something.
But snow - in October - isn't that rather unusual even for these interesting times?
