I had the dubious pleasure of performing a level survey on Shell's Brae A and Brae B platforms in the 80's to make sure they werent going to topple over... Not a fun experience...
Definitely would go stir crazy out there...

Beautiful photos! It's difficult to equate the rough North Sea with such gorgeous sunsets. The very thought of being out there scares me!
