    Does the causeway flood at *high tide?
    Yes the causeway is covered by water almost half of the time.

    Not really. It's just a wet road which dries out quite quickly in sunny weather but just remains wet when it's raining

    I've travelled across to the island on several occasions and never had any problems at all

    The photos bring back some nice memories, I have walked that road you are on with the Norman Castle behind your shoulder. We stayed in a B&B called The Ship on Holy Island and I remember a few nice pubs about.
