I am very happy with what I got. For the price it is brilliant. It doesn't crinkle and after a few washes is loosing its initial stiffness. It fits very comfortabley and is a nice weight in a breeze.

I think I have mentioned elsewhere, if buying again I would save a few bucks and go for the base model rather than Deluxe. Couple of reasons:I bought the Deluxe because of the extra pockets at the back. They are nicely made but next to useless is size. The extra chrome domes on the front panel serve no purpose other than bling and IMHO detract they from the product.

So for what its worth, Brice and his product gets my tick of approval
Cool! Definitely looking into these more seriously.

    Hi Java

I also have a Utilikilt Workman (thanks SR ) . The weight of the UT at a guess is about 2/3 that of the U W. Definitely the latter is better quality material and finish. eg The UT has only one line of stitching at hem while the U W is first overlocked then has two rows of stitching. But at 4 x the price ($65 v $260) you get what you pay for...

Oh, something I really like about the UT is that it doesnt have makers advertising displayed on the outside of it. IMHO putting labels on the outside has to be one of the cleverest moves in the clothing industry - perhaps ever. Its something I try to avoid.

FWIW re comparison between these two, they are very different styles to each other. For one thing, the UT tends to a more traditional kilt appearance, sitting at waist not hips. I really like both but currently wear the UT more especially out in public.

I didn't see this thread when I posted mine. Hope it helps.

I should have asked around about them specifically before I ordered. I was a little nervous dealing with someone I wasn't sure about, but I actually came out good in the gamble.
