Re: The perfect hose for Clan Claus?

I like them. I don't even think you need to be a Clan Claus member to wear these as a festive addition to your kilt. They would fit right in during the Holiday season.

    Very nice!

And I, for one, am excited for my beard to turn (more) white - my wife tells me a longer beard and styled moustache make me look too old, but she has agreed that once it all turns white I'll have her blessing to grow it all nice and long.

I threatened to dye mine (people think I'm older than I really am) but my wife says "no way!".....she likes it just how it is.

I saw those hose, too, and wondered how a green sock with the red-and-white cuff would look.

Thy hose, sire. Though, if I may be so bold as to suggest these as well?

I've looked at hose like these before: Penrith Basketweave Shooting Sock - Regal Red
, but my question is I wear Macdonell of Keppoch in Ancient colours (orangish-red w/lovat greens & blues). Would these hose go w/ something like that, or should I really care?
That's a question that I'm considering too w/ the bright red of the OP's "Santa" hose & my kilt's colours. Matt? Anyone?

My father had jet black hair (black Irish) and it was going grey by 16. haha. I am glad that, in those regards, I inherited my mothers hair. My dad got thick, curly black beautiful hair but I can do without thick and curly as long as mine stays brown for awhile. haha.

When I was younger mine was much longer, dark and thickly curled:

...with my son on his 3rd b-day -- I was 24 (my temples were greying & hidden by a mass of curls)

    Okay, thread hijack over
