Re: What to wear?!
Although I agree with Glen about tweed, you can't wear what you haven't got.
If you were in the UK, I would advise you to look seriously at waistcoats. It is after all a wedding and should be a joyous occasion. Here, a bright waistcoat would not be seen as out of place.
The last thought is this - you can only dress for you and whoever you are taking with you. You can not be held to ransom by the bad dress sense of the relatives of the bride and groom.
Have a good time.
Regards
Chas

Bear in mind, guys, that I was not worried about outshining the bride or groom. They'll be fine. I was worried about out dressing the other guests to the point where it might be distracting. I have it figured out now. Thanks for your help.

Jeez, why should you take into account the fact that other guests may not know how to (or perhaps won't make the effort to) dress well for the occaision? Buck 'em! It's THEIR problem, not yours. You should wear your black jacket and your tank with the appropriate accessories and to hell with anyone who doesn't have the dress sense to do likewise (or trousered equivalent). Have a great time there.

Re: What to wear?!
The only way to outshine anyone at the wedding would be if your significant other donned a white dress. I've been to a plethora of weddings and that is usually the only thing that would tick a bride off. No one else really cares
