The Great Scot tartan vs. Spirit of Scotland tartan?

I searched the 14 purplish tartans that were referred as suggestions. Of those tartans only 2 are available/ offered in PV: The SOS & The Warrior tartans!
I like the Scotland Forever & there were others but the purples looked blue in the computer generated tartans (ie: if they were supposed to be purple?)
I think my head would be spinning if I decide to go with wool. (I am almost positive in having a PV kilt)
As I mention earlier my final decision on type of kilt & fabric will be made March 3rd.

It would be cool if someone could post photos of kilts made up in the Warrior tartan. I don't think I've ever seen one.

Thanks. Based on those photos, I don't much care for the Warrior tartan.

It has a elementary graphic drawing-board look to it similar to many of the Allen Brothers tartans.

I much prefer the sophisticated artistry of Isle of Skye, and Spirit of Scotland.

Personally, I am biased towards the Montgomery purple. ;)



But there are many dress tartans that fit the bill...
