Hmmm, you might want to post this comment in the following discussion thread about fur sporrans
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=74185
because a live fur sporran has got to have some magic to it.

Thanks, Mr. Science Guy!
I guess rodentia would include the beaver and muskrat; carnivora, most of the other favorites, like racoon, fox, and that local favorite Mephitis mephitis.
What order are the American marsupials again? We keep threatening to go there, but I don't think anyone has actually done it. There is an ample supply hereabouts.

I don't have photos, but I have definitely seen at least two "possum" sporrans. If I had a barrel of carbon tetrachloride (for degreasing the hide) I'd make one for sure!

If you ever decide to make one , I'd be happy to supply you with a specimen . I see at least one a day either as road kill or live ones on my property . Also , I believe they are EPA approved as they are " free range " possums . ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Of course you probably have many of them in your neck of the woods as well !
