They are light weight, comfortable, easy to clean, etc.

Yes, the food is okay and the service is good. Being a "chain" operation, it is not bad. We have one in Jacksonville, Florida and we get together there sometimes. I have not worn a kilt to the place yet...maybe a kilt-night is an idea! It looks as if your kilt is a Maclaren tartan!

I have visited Tilted Kilt in Southern California. It was a real letdown. Certainly a Hooters with "kilts."
There was absolutely nothing close to a Scottish pub about the place.

    The food was awful.

The service so-so and slow (not even during busy hours).

The guys wore the kilts passed their knees and looked like ladies skirts! No sporrans, either.

Fake-looking decor that looked very unauthentic.

    Quite a disappointment.

There isn't one within 500 miles of me, so I don't think I'll be going anytime soon. Still nice to hear of an establishment like this one...

There seems to be a lot of 'theme' in a themed pub. Are all the walls covered like that?

The ones I have been to are all clones of each other. The wall decorations are exactly the same in each. Food is fairly decent and they have Bass. Other than that, they're a sports bar.

There's one about 20 miles from me, located in Canton, OH. Have been meaning to check it out, but just haven't made it there yet.

My nearest is in the White Flint shopping mall in Maryland, but that must be at least 40 miles away. Not really close enough for a casual visit, whilst we have a Hooters in the town where I live ...

According to their website, the closest one to me is in San Diego,CA. Not exactly a neighborhood pub.

There are a lot of neighborhoods between Antioch and San Diego. Nice little town. About 40 years ago I was often passing thru Antioch on business.
