Yeah, quite a bit of Stewart. However, The Piedmont Highlanders Pipe & Drum band don't wear Stewart, they wear "the uniform of the Seaforth Highlanders with Mackenzie tartan kilts". They go with a khaki shirt in warm weather. http://www.piedmonthighlanders.org/
The Piedmont Youth Bagpipe band does wear the Black Stewart, but never have seen them in jackets or vests. Only white shirts and ties or black tees with their logo.
And of course the Stewart Tartan P & D wear Stewart, royal and hunting, with a navy shirt, or a full dress uniform. Usually the navy for the parade. http://www.stewarttartan.com/v3ABOUT.htm
And in the "olden days" back in the 30s-70s, the high school had it's own pipe band, in Royal Stewart, of course!. http://www.stewarttartan.com/v3YORE....nt_High_School
From their website, looks like the Prince Charles Pipe Band are in Marin for the 4th. Would be great to see them, I'll have to keep my eyes open more. Their site does show a band camp in town in June...hmmm.
