The UK third in the medal table? Much better than Eurovision then!

UK has nine medals in rowing alone. Four gold two silver and three bronze.

I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. Olympics on in the background and when I hear something that catches my interest, I tune in. Sometimes too late apparently

The extra money he would have won had he beaten Federer at Wimbledon would have bought him quite a few gold medals! ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Nonetheless - well done!

Murray did beat Federer at Wimbledon, just not at the championships at the All England Club. With an estimated net worth of $25 million and his endorsement value just doubling, I don't believe that money was the main motivating force.

When it wasn't for money he actually did better.

Jock, I heartily congratulate team GB's showing at these Olympic Games. Unfortunately Australia's form is the same as those in the last Ashes series.

There is, as they say, "always another day" and I have no doubts that you chaps will bounce back, one of these days. In the meantime------.
