I think it looks fantastic! Really fantastic. I may have to start trolling around the used stores to see if I can find an old tweed....unfortunately I am a hard size to fit.

Through the various posts here I got a rough idea of what I wanted—a kilt jacket with epaulettes and plain cuffs that could be worn out in public without too much embarrassment.
I should think you succeeded quite admirably! I especially like the fact you left the sleeves plain and the ticket pocket...wonderful touch! Wear it in good health!
