    Personally love the vests. But I've started wearing vest before I wore kilts. They have a way of making an outfit formal, even more so when paired with a jacket. Coupling a vest with a pocket watch makes for a very distinguished look, a timeless look as far as I'm concerned.

    Thanks, Robert, for giving us an insight into your process. I like how you are inspired by these photos of well-attired guys, but don't copy them exactly.

    I think anyone who is looking to improve their kilting would be well-advised to borrow Robert's method of finding inspiration!
