Yes, we know it is a pun. The question is what is a personal opinion of a political commentator doing in this thread?

Just for a little levity. I can't resist a good pun. In any case, sorry if I've offended with my wee aside... Here are some affordable hose:

Perhaps this thread would benefit from the OP defining "affordable". That seems to be a subjective term.
I started off wearing thin, cheap kilt hose. But over time, grew to appreciate high quality. I don't mind paying $75 or more for a good pair of kilt hose, and it's "affordable" to me. But obviously, that same standard of affordability won't be the same for everyone else. So perhaps setting the goal posts for this discussion would help with recommendations?

If you want to get a good/bad pun thread going it has to be on a topic such as bird names or cats. Or you can pun about kilts with fell-onious intend even if it is a true-waist of time.
And I agree with Tobus that a definition from the OP of affordable would be useful.

Hi TyGuy,
There is a decent selection of Kilt hose on Amazon at reasonable prices including some fancier pairs that they put on sale from time to time. However, even if it might cost a wee bit more, I think it's good to purchase from venders on this site.
Just before the holidays last fall, I wanted to purchase a pair of red hose. I searched all over and though most vendors listed that color, no one seemed to have any, in my size, in stock. I ended up finding them at the Scottish Tartan Museum Gift Shop; they had them in stock and they were under $30 (and they are really nice hose).
