    Quite right, mate.

Seconding Cygnus' calculation about the waist---I figured 38", but it all depends on the "splits". The seller should have buckled it and measured across.

So you did! I'm glad to see we're all on the same page, at least, even if some of us didn't read previous posts as carefully as we should have.

Hey Kyle , When one clicks on the link , it takes to you the ebay page , then if you click above the seller's picture it takes you to the seller's original listing .

Once one gets to the seller's original listing , you can see the pics . If you click on the pics it takes you to the seller's Auctiva image hosting where one can see a better close-up of the items .

The service medal is definitely WWI , but all the garments and their leather look way newer , i.e. the kilt itself , kilt straps , buckles, waist liner , sporran and straps , etc .

I'm wondering if the seller maybe had a vintage outfit of some other decade ( perhaps 70's ) and with the prescence of a WWI medal , perhaps thought the entire outfit was WWI . The seller claims limited knowledge .

Once I seen the pics , it kind of made me " scratch my head " . What's your take ? Am I off base here ?

    Cheers , Mike
