    This is pretty good advice for Fergus. You will look overdressed in a jacket and you will be overheated. Don't see very many Gillie shirts, but it's a matter of taste. Most folks aren't kilted, as you might expect, and many that are are in competing pipe bands. The rest of us wear our kilts and dress for the weather. Golf umbrella's are really handy - either for rain or sitting in the hot sun.
