Alan, really.....the one mate I'd expect to see while there.... ![Surprised](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif)
We we might be staying, after all, in the Martinez / Walnut Creek area, and just take the BART down for the wedding on Sunday.....

To all those following my pending visit to the Bay Area, it appears my schedule will be very tight on available free-time. I will keep you updated as to what time I have and when and hopefully we can do a last minute ( hours notice ) meet up. I would like to visit with some of our members in the Bay Area..... Maybe we can squeeze in a lunch or dinner meet-up......

Keep us informed. I could potentially get to the Martinez area on several hours notice but The City would be more difficult.

I'm fairly booked that day, but something east bay in the evening might be a possible. I'll watch the thread and see if a last-minute event materializes.
Not familiar with the place, but Cullen's steampunk Irish pub in Benicia might be a good location for an XMarks meetup. http://www.tannerypub.com/ and not far from Martinez.

Ok folks, we're in Pleasant Hill, and in for the night, after dinner with family. Tomorrow, Saturday, we're off to Boulder Creek / Loc Lomond and Santa Cruz for meet ups with family again. Maybe when we return tomorrow night to the Pleasant Hill area we can arrange a dinner meetup with some of you local rabble. I'll keep you all informed, hopefully with a few hours notice.

Didn't make it back to the Pleasant Hill area until 20 min ago. Getting around in the Bay Area is challenging sometimes isn't it....![Surprised](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif)
We'll try again sometime before we depart the area on Tuesday......

Mmm. Black Bear: Used to stop in on my way to Weaverville. You better like the food, since you get about a week's worth on one plate.
