Excellent Choice, Congratulations! My Royal Stewart is easily one of my favorite kilts--and my dog likes it too:

but I'm also very fond of my Black Stewart and Hunting Stewart kilts as well, and Dress Stewart is nice for warm weather. But forget about me: Royal Stewart is Queen Elizabeth's personal tartan--you're in REALLY good company.

You're very welcome. I don't actually have a Dress Stewart kilt, YET--the only one I don't have already--but I may very well get one to wear to the Chicago Scots Scottish Festival and Highland Games later this month (any ol' excuse)......

I wasn't readily able to find a color version of it online, but if I recall correctly, the young men standing in front in the official family portrait from Her Majesty's coronation are wearing Royal Stewart:

Do they look sharp, or what?
