    Follow the color scheme of the Japanese, Black for weddings, white for funerals. Good choice and good luck to your friends.

    Some really interesting advice here. Wearing the kilt properly and smartly for a wedding I think is the key to an enjoyable event. That said I too will be wearing mine to a young couples wedding in Germany on the 30th. Yes I will be the only one in a kilt so I share in your enthusiasm!
