the kids do all the events. I don't participate but try to shot as many of the athletes as possible as well as the kids. The picture of Cameron with the caber (known as the cigar because of it's big end)was the moment he was proudest of. He was the first guy in the group to turn the caber and he got it at 12 oclock. Not bad for 16 year old.

On Saturday when we couldn't get into the festival we went to the beach next door where a surfin competition was going on. These were like kayaks. Here are a few shots of what that was like. It was nice to hear the pipes as background music.
