The 'Mountain Kilt' (from Mountain Gear Inc) also uses the same clips/snaps - most effectively.

I am not a big fan of Camo Clothing, but after seeing yours, I would like to get one now.

Ooh! Better hurry. According to the kiltmaker, he has just enough Predator camo for one more kilt, tops. And that was back in early June.

Or maybe you're up for any sort of camo material; that's cool, too. I like camo myself, because if you spot it up, it's hard to tell. So it's the ideal kilt to eat pasta in.

Nice thing about those quick releases is that they won't set off the metal detectors at the airport. If I had worn my Bear Kilt on my last flight, I wouldn't have had the wand treatment. BTW - the airport personel were very polite and professional.

From experience, I can affirm that this is true. There's just a tiny bit of metal in the hooks; that's it. I wore it through Rochester Int'l with no problems. In fact, the security guy recognized me and chatted about the New Way of Kilting as I went through security. I handed him a card, so maybe just maybe he's seen the light.

So Rochester's airport was no problem. St. Louis ... that's another story.
